Some pics from the world. Also, I'm considering releasing a pre-beta version of the world, so that you can have a look around and provide feedback and suggestions.

Park/Garden arbor.

Here's an arbor for your sims to hide in the shade during the hot summer days. Can be placed from CAW or be found under Decor>Miscellaneous.

I've done it!

OMG OMG OMG!

I've done it! I created my first thing from scratch, using Milkshape, Blender, UV Mapper, Paint.net and TSRW. I'm so excited, as it opens new doors to creating my own things!

The project itself is very simple - it's the elevated train tracks for Chicago.
Still needs improvements, but it's a milestone.

Co-creating Vancouver

As I offered one of the creators help with creating Vancouver world for the game, I set my shoulder to the wheel and converted most of the skyscrapers from the city. There's going to be some more, and obviously the Lions Gate Bridge, which needs a few more attempts with scaling.

If you are interested in the project, keep your eye on his *blog*

The city's slowly filling up.

It takes really a lot of time to build a house on a hill. What about a whole city?
These are what I've been doing all afternoon.

San Francisco Beta 1.

The beta 1. is available to download, however, it needs quite a lot of CC. You can download CC here and the beta itself here.

Introducing: Monsoon.

Hey all.
You might know me from Mod The Sims site, I'm the (upcoming) creator of the world of San Francisco.
What made me choose that city? Well, since there were successful attempts to create both L.A. and L.V. and the variety of exmaples of SF among other PC games, the choice was quite easy to make.
It's hard to maintain both the high quality and accurate performance though, that's why I decided to replace some lots with deco building. If it wasn't for TJ Streak, who helped me by creating a very useful tutorial, the skyscrapers of this height would have never been done.

Stay tuned, the update is coming.
